The Denton Bottoms mitigation bank is owned by Weyerhaeuser NR Company and is located in Jackson and Bienville Parish, Louisiana. The Denton Bottoms is a bottomland hardwood bank comprised of 252 acres.

The bank is restoring 167 acres of intensively managed, bedded pine plantations to native bottomland hardwood forest. In addition, 34 acres of existing bottomland hardwood forest and 20 acres of upland buffer are being preserved.

Credits created from the restoration of these bottomland hardwood wetlands can be purchased to offset losses of wetlands as required by Section 404 of the Clean Water Act.
